Lyashko screamed in the Rada about Moscow’s revenge
If the Verkhovna Rada is re-elected, but the new coalition in parliament will first of all repeal the law on “Mova” and give Donbass a special status, which under no circumstances should be allowed.
The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main problem that Ukraine and the parliament are facing today is the revenge of pro-Russian forces, the revenge of Moscow, on the threshold of which we are standing!
Remember how the “regionals” jumped up during Zelensky’s rather bright inaugural speech. The last time I saw them scream like that was on January 16, 2014, when they passed dictatorial laws. The next time they started jumping up and down like monkeys was when Zelensky was talking about resuming relations with Russia.
We are not against resuming relations with Russia, but not at the expense of capitulation and defeat. Yesterday's initiative by Zelensky for a referendum on friendship with Russia is a betrayal of the memory of millions of Ukrainians who are fighting for Ukraine today!
What kind of friendship is there with Russia when Russian troops are in the Donbass, when tens of thousands of Ukrainians are killed?
Today it’s five years since 18 servicemen of the 51st Brigade were killed near Volnovakha in Rubezhnoye, Bezler’s militants did it, and they tell us about friendship with Russia!” - Lyashko shouted and pounded the podium with his fist.
“Yesterday, at a consultation with Zelensky, I asked directly whether you are going to repeal the language law, are you going to sell land to foreigners? Zelensky did not answer these questions.
I warn the Ukrainians: the new parliament, where there will be a majority of Regionalists and Zelenskys, the first thing they will try to do is to repeal the language law, accept a special status for Donbass and sell the land to foreigners!
I want to tell Ukrainians: our team is going to the new parliament to protect Ukraine! We will not allow the language law to be repealed, we will not allow a special status to be adopted for Donbass, we will not allow the land to be sold to foreigners, and we will not allow the Kremlin to take revenge so that they rule here in Ukraine!” - shouted Lyashko.
Let us recall that the sponsorship of Lyashko’s party is attributed by the Ukrainian media to the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, whom the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, close to the new President Zelensky, promised to deprive of excess profits on coal supply schemes.
In addition to serving the interests of sponsor Akhmetov, Lyashko has another reason to “wet” Zelensky - their electoral niches partially overlap, the “Radical Party” is losing popularity against the background of high ratings of the “Servant of the People”.
