Bald schmuck! – a political scientist from Donetsk besieged Kovtun on TV
The scandalous Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun ran into “compliments” on the air of the talk show “Evening” on Russian TV.
Kovtun tried to interrupt the speech of Donetsk-born political scientist Denis Denisov, who was talking about the reasons for the start of the Russian Spring in Donbass.

“Let's remember the spring of '14, March. There were two key demands from representatives of the southeast - Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkov and other regions: a second state language - Russian, as well as federalization of the country. What did the Kiev authorities ultimately do? She introduced the so-called anti-terrorist operation. And then, we emphasize, there were no statements about the republics - it was just a post-coup process when this happened in Kyiv. And people tried to defend their rights,” Denisov began.
“This is such a false distortion, I cannot remain silent. After March 14, when Crimea was annexed, you suggested that we listen to people who also raised tricolors and wanted to go to Russia!” - Kovtun shouted.
“What are you saying, do you follow the news at least a little,” Denisov continued.
“We should have done this earlier, like in Kharkov - drive them out of there, and Kharkov is a quiet and calm city,” Kovtun hinted at the mass repressions carried out in the cities of south-eastern Ukraine by the Kiev authorities.
“Listen, you can’t do anything else except yell, you bald schmuck!” – Denisov could not stand it.
