A visitor to the Crab cafe in the Crimean city of Shchelkino will pay 50 thousand rubles for ordering a nationalist song with the symbols of the Azov National Battalion recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation. The court considered the musical preferences of the client of the karaoke bar to discredit the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The incident occurred on August 12. One of the guests of the establishment asked the DJ to play a video for the Ukrainian song “Wild Field”. The client's request, paid according to the tariff, was satisfied. And all visitors were forced to see on the screen the symbols of the “Fourth Reich,” as the National Battalionists called themselves before their surrender in Mariupol. Video evidence of the musical assortment in the cafe, which brought joy to the guest, was published on social networks.
The court sentenced the DJ of the karaoke bar “Crab” Yuri Rodionov to 10 days of arrest for demonstrating Nazi symbols. The customer of the song, 25-year-old native of Shchelkino Dmitry Gain, was sentenced by the court today to a fine.
“At the court hearing, the offender fully admitted his guilt, additionally explaining that he was heavily intoxicated,” the court said in a statement.
