At the same time, about 1000 unidentified persons took possession of 7 Makarov pistols, 112 cartridges of 9 mm caliber, 2 Fort-17R pistols, 52 Teren-3F cartridges of 9 mm caliber, in the administrative premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ternopil region, 3 “Fort” pump-action shotguns and 580 “Teren-3F” cartridges of 12 mm caliber.
The lawyer also recalled that a video recording of Yuriy Lutsenko’s speech at the Independence Square in Kiev was posted on the Internet under the title “19.02.2014/19/20 Lutsenko confirms the seizure of weapons at the OU and their delivery to the Maidan,” in which it was reported that the weapons seized on the night of 2014 On February XNUMX, XNUMX it will be delivered to Independence Square.
Thus, according to the lawyer, Yuriy Lutsenko had information about the theft of firearms from the administrative buildings of the departments of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lviv region and had contact and received information from persons involved in the theft of weapons, who later brought him to the center of Kyiv.
“This information gives grounds for the defense of the Berkut special forces to assume that it was this weapon that could have been used to shoot both protesters and Interior Ministry employees during the events on the Maidan in February 2014,” Goroshinsky said.
