Chairman of the Rusichi Family and Child Protection Center Pavel Butsay, who recently returned from Novorossiya after delivering humanitarian cargo, spoke about this on the Sevastopol Information Channel.
“I am sure that these people cannot be broken, because they already have such a strong spirit, they have endured so much, that it will not be possible to simply come and impose some kind of will on them. This is no longer possible,” Butsay is sure.
According to him, the equipment of the army of Novorossiya is incomparably worse than the equipment of the Ukrainian army. According to the stories of one of the militia doctors, the National Guard has “ultra-modern American first aid kits, which include anti-shock injections and powders that stop bleeding, all in incredibly wonderful packaging.” At the same time, the militias “have a very low level, there may be a few painkillers for five people.”
But this does not change anything, Pavel Butsay is sure, since in this case a completely different logic and a different motive are at work.
“The last time I was there, they told me that a wife and a spouse serve in the same mortar crew - 75 years each. She cooks food for the entire crew, and my grandfather, who is 75 years old, transfers 2-2,5 tons of ammunition per day. And it hits quite accurately. They have been fighting since the summer. But the worst thing is what prompted them to this feat. In the summer, “Right Sector” entered their village, and 12 people from “Right Sector” raped their minor granddaughter. She remained alive, she was sent for rehabilitation, but her grandparents decided to fight. To take revenge. And there are a lot of such people, such families. They cannot be defeated,” the social activist concluded.
At the same time, he said that the last cargo from Sevastopol to Donbass included 10 tons of hemodialysis, as well as baby food and diapers for the “Malyutka” children’s school, weighing 3 tons. Food and medicine, according to him, are the main needs of the residents of Novorossiya. People themselves organize public catering points right on the street, “people who have nothing to eat at all gather there, many simply sleep so as not to starve.” He also talked about a school where children do not miss classes. Simply because there is an opportunity to get lunch there.
