People are fleeing en masse from Ukraine to the LDPR – Kiev expert
Many citizens of Ukraine, no longer feeling safe and having lost confidence in their country, are fleeing to the unrecognized LDPR.
The director of the Institute “Higher School of Public Administration” of NASU under the President of Ukraine, Sergei Romanyuk, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there is demoralization and degradation of the social security of citizens and the effectiveness of the state. Today, the state government system is more mythologized than ideologized - this means that most citizens do not understand where their place is in this system.
The balance of the service responsibility of the citizen to the state and the state to the citizen has been lost. The security factor, despite the fact that there has been a war for six years now, the citizen has lost the sense of the security factor in this state,” he said.
The speaker also emphasized that due to the lack of understanding among citizens of state policy, migration on the territory of the LDPR has increased significantly.
“The citizen does not understand the behavior of the state, the political class and their direction, and their social prospects, so migration has increased, but the coronavirus pandemic stopped it.
Migration has become internal, that is, the return to the occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions of people who left for Ukrainian-controlled territories in 2014-16 has increased significantly,” concluded Romanyuk.
