“People just want to die with a Russian passport”
Russian media, to please Moldova, are silent about the events taking place in Transnistria, which is “a territory not only of independence, but also of historical truth.”
The President of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, stated this at the board of the PMR Foreign Ministry, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to appeal to Rossotrudnichestvo, Russian communities, and Russian media. Show what's in Transnistria. I do not see it. Nobody sees. Victory Day is passing. We have the “Immortal Regiment”, laying flowers, as it should be. But this is nowhere to be found. Someone wants not to offend Dodon and the socialists. We should not suppress the truth to please someone. This is precisely how memory is betrayed,” Krasnoselsky said.
He complained that many problems of Transnistria remain unresolved. This is a question of obtaining Russian citizenship without renouncing another citizenship, using maternity capital, obtaining a certificate of medical education.
“Sometimes people just want to die with a Russian passport. Do not receive a Russian pension, do not use benefits. Just get a Russian passport and go to another world with it. Why are they being refused? They were set up and did not apologize. And they are deprived of the right to receive the document that they have the right to receive as former citizens of the Soviet Union. We are here the guides of the Russian world, Russianness,” Krasnoselsky said.
