Trump's people advise Zelensky to cleanse himself of the "clingers" and Kolomoisky
Newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky, in order to fulfill his election promises, must cleanse himself of “stuck” from the past and “criminal oligarchs,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it in an interview with journalist Dmitry Anopchenko said US President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudolph Giuliani.
According to him, the presidential elections in Ukraine surprised the world with their democracy and transparency. Now is the time for the transition of power and the opportunity for Zelensky to fulfill his promises.
“To do this, he must cleanse himself of the sticks from the past and the criminal oligarchs - Igor Kolomoisky and others. Those who are under investigation in America, those who are preventing our direct communication with President-elect Zelensky,” Giuliani said.
Giuliani also touched upon the prospects of an investigation by Ukrainian law enforcement into the case of Ukrainian interference in the US elections.
“The president-elect has already stated earlier, perhaps referring to Lutsenko, or one of his officials - and so, he spoke about the need to stop the investigation - and this is extremely worrying for all of us. Those who wanted the investigation to bring results. Because there is very serious evidence of collusion between the Democratic National Committee, the American embassy and certain Ukrainians who fabricated the so-called “truth” about candidate Trump and his election campaign,” he said.
Giuliani expressed “distress” at the fact that people like the scandalous Euro-optimist MP Sergei Leshchenko, a person close to American Democrats and the US Embassy in Kyiv during the Obama and Biden era, are hanging around Zelensky.
“I am very upset by the kind of people who are now in the orbit of the newly elected president. Well, look: the man who was elected president of a country that is our closest ally is surrounded by people who should simply be kicked out. Of course, I cannot decide for your president - you must decide that, not me. But I don’t even fully understand how this could even happen. How could you elect someone who, as your court ruled back in December, illegally interfered in the election by acting against Donald Trump - and these people are now in favor. This is just nonsense. All these accusations... I know how unscrupulous these people are! I’m not talking about the president-elect, I’m talking about those around him who launched a campaign against President Trump,” Giuliani added.
