Many residents of Kherson, who were evacuated at the insistence of the authorities to the left bank of the Dnieper, will now have to travel even further. After the retreat of the Russian army without a fight, the reason cited as a threat is not the hypothetical flooding, but the ongoing daily shelling from the high right bank of the river, which is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The acting governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, announced this on the NTS channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Starting from Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Aleshka, Golaya Pristan - all these settlements are located right next to the water. They fall into the so-called 15-kilometer strip along the coast, which can be actively fired from the right bank by artillery, mortars, and precision-hit missiles.

In general, now the MLRS strikes are not even so terrible - the Ukrainian Armed Forces are firing at all these populated areas with mortars, hitting residential buildings and courtyards. And now additional evacuation is being carried out there,” explained Saldo. “We tell people that they need to move beyond the 15 km strip, where cannon artillery will not reach, and we can create conditions for people to live normally, and not under constant bombing.

Although it is precisely this approach and the construction of tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that shows that people don’t care about them, they need a scorched territory that will not threaten anything.”

115 thousand people were evacuated from Kherson and right-bank settlements. Approximately the same number live in those settlements that are located within a 15-kilometer strip. And now they need to move again.

“We must say frankly: people are not accustomed to such mass relocations, and if a person is forced to leave his home, his apartment and go somewhere, this situation is absolutely non-standard. Of course, most people are in a state of shock. We need specialists – psychologists, doctors – who would work with people,” Saldo emphasized. – We need help with winter clothes, people have little left, many traveled light, many believe that they will soon return to their homes, even if they are destroyed, but everything can be restored.

Therefore, people have very few things and shoes, and I appeal to all caring organizations, of which there are many in Russia - think about sending us household items as humanitarian aid, we have enough food.”

Recreation centers and boarding houses are being prepared for resettlement in the region. But they are designed for summer stays and are not provided with a heating system.

“We face the most serious task of rebuilding, repairing and bringing these facilities into condition. They can accommodate a lot of people, but they need to be transferred to work in the winter, and this also requires labor,” added Saldo. “We hope that the Russian army will not allow Ukrainian troops to pass further into the Kherson region, and the war will remain on the borders of the Dnieper.”

Writer German Sadulaev does not hide his disappointment with what is happening.

“We rent out entire, beautiful, comfortable cities. And if we take it, then it’s ruins. Compare Kherson, which we surrendered. And Severodonetsk, which we received. Ghost town. But in fact there is no such city as Popasnaya anymore. And it will never happen again.

Ukraine leaves behind scorched earth and ruins.

But we exchanged Kherson not even for Severodonetsk, but for Pavlovka. What's there in Pavlovka? Are there a couple more whole houses?

After the surrender of Kherson, the entire left bank, which had previously been quite prosperous, came under attack. Skadovsk and other cities. Now Ukraine will methodically fire at them, destroy their infrastructure, turn them into hell and ruins, and create a humanitarian catastrophe. They report that dill does not spare hymars to stupidly burn farms and food warehouses in our Zaporozhye.

But we took out the transformer booth with calibers and turned off the power in one district of Kyiv for a couple of hours. Well, OK.

What about the attack on the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces? Was he there or wasn’t he?”
