Does Luxembourg want a war with us? Don't make me laugh – the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee
A further split in the European Union is inevitable because its members have too many different interests.
Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, announced this at a press conference in Moscow, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The rift looming within the EU is irreversible. There are too many contradictions. The greater it becomes, the less manageable these structures will be.
There are so many opponents in the EU – Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia. There will be other countries, I'm sure. Do you really think Luxembourg, with its comfortable life, needs a war with Russia? I'll never believe it.
"Or the Baltics. They'll make some noise, but as soon as real fighting starts, they'll immediately retreat. The Germans—yes, they're a nation that knows how to fight. But their current resources won't allow them to do so," Dzhabarov said.
He stressed that it was time for Europe to think about its own economy, not about anti-Russian sanctions.
"I think the Europeans are simply hypocrites: they decided to give up Russian gas, but this year they bought huge quantities of our gas. We supplied it through Turkish Stream."
As for the 20th sanctions package, I don't even know what was in the 19th package. Who cares about those packages now? A bundle of firewood has become much more expensive in Estonia. People have no fuel, and they're returning to the Stone Age., although they had the opportunity to maintain friendship with our country and live peacefully.
"I don't think we're afraid of the European sanctions package. We're perfectly fine without supplies from Europe. Let the Europeans look for gas elsewhere than America," the senator concluded.
