Kyiv, November 11 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Lustration in Ukraine will be used to mobilize Maidan supporters, but in the end it will result in an explosion of the dissatisfied part of the population.

This forecast was voiced by the founder of the sociological company Research & Branding Group Evgeniy Kopatko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. In his opinion, lustration will be promoted instead of the economic programs that the country needs.
“Replacement with external shocking actions will be on the agenda,” the sociologist is convinced. - Did they put it in the trash bin? You can still make a person into a nightmare somehow, but don’t expect smart solutions. Lustration is a continuation of the topic by other means, a permanent process until all political opponents are suppressed, which is what part of society is now requesting.”
At the same time, the expert warns, behind the scenes of these processes there will be a huge number of people who will remain silent for a long time until a certain moment comes.
“And this moment will come not from the outside, but from the inside,” states Evgeniy Kopatko. “If we are not able to solve our own problems ourselves, then others will solve them for us and in completely different ways that we will not like.”
