“Lustrators” want to remove Kivalov from the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Justice
Kyiv - Odessa, June 13 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) - The so-called Lustration Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers demanded the removal of Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Kivalov from the post of chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Justice Committee.

The corresponding statement was made at a press conference by the head of the Lustration Committee, Egor Sobolev, a Navigator correspondent reports.
“We demand that the parliamentary coalition get together and release Sergei Kivalov from the post of head of the parliamentary committee on justice. Mr. Kivalov’s further work in this position is a spit in the face of the Maidan and justice,” Sobolev emphasized.
In addition, Sobolev believes that Kivalov, together with Andrei Portnov, the fugitive deputy head of President Yanukovych’s administration, still controls the courts in Ukraine.
“The people of Sergei Kivalov and Andrei Portnov went on a counter-offensive, sit in courts and make decisions contrary to the laws of Ukraine,” Sobolev noted.
“If within the next week the parliamentary majority, which came to these positions thanks to the Maidan, does not release Sergei Kivalov, we will come and take him from the Rada ourselves,” said the chairman of the so-called Lustration Committee.
