False plumber stole and robbed residents of Sevastopol

According to her, posing as a plumber, the detainee entered the apartments of city residents, distracted the attention of the owners and took laptops, phones and money.
So, the attacker came to an 80-year-old woman and introduced himself as a plumber from REP. He asked to inspect the pipes, then distracted the landlady's attention by asking for water. While the pensioner went to fetch water, the fake plumber took her grandson’s laptop and wallet with money and disappeared.
A 50-year-old city woman filed a similar complaint with the police. The suspect asked her to show her documents for the water meter, and while she was looking for them, the man took her laptop and phone.
The attacker, a 39-year-old resident of a neighboring state, was detained by criminal investigation officers on Zakharov Square. A criminal case has been initiated against him on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft).
During the investigation, the detainee was implicated in 20 more similar crimes in all areas of the city. It was also established that the attacker also committed robberies, snatching handbags from women in the evening.
The fake plumber has now been arrested.
