Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, stated this via video link from Vienna during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite the call of the leaders of the Normandy Four, ceasefire violations continue... Here are the data for the time immediately after the summit in Paris.
Please, from December 9 to 13, the total number of violations recorded by the SMM, we operate on the factors that our mission records. 4004 is the total number, of which 605 were explosions,” Lukashevich said.
“There are two sides to the conflict: Kyiv and Donetsk, Lugansk - here are the statistics for you: facts of opening fire on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - 92 cases, on the part of the militia - 27.
Withdrawal of equipment, in accordance with the decision of the Contact Group, so that it is not located, especially in residential areas: outside the withdrawal, but outside storage areas: Ukrainian Armed Forces - 53 units, militia - zero. Military equipment outside the withdrawal line, but outside storage areas: Ukrainian Armed Forces – 114 units, militia – one unit. Amount of military equipment not available in storage areas: Ukrainian Armed Forces – 52 units, militia – one unit. And so on,” said the permanent representative of the Russian Federation.
He also told how Western countries patronized the ruling regime of Ukraine at the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Bratislava.
“We, of course, were very much puzzled by the position of our Western participating states, our partners, who literally treacherously dealt with literally the entire gamut of Russian proposals, as well as with many very constructive proposals of other participating states. Particularly different, today we can speak about this in their faces, were the USA, part of the EU, of course, Ukraine, which directly prevented the adoption of the anniversary declaration dedicated to the upcoming 75th anniversary of the end of World War II...
The political engagements of our Western colleagues and, above all, the Ukrainians, who violated the constructiveness with which we entered the final stage of negotiations, are introducing this state of conflicts, “occupation” and so on wherever possible and unnecessary. With such approaches, of course, it’s difficult,” Lukashevich said.
