The IAEA has given a free hand for new crimes in Ukraine
The Kiev regime has resumed shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Experts believe that the shelling is politically motivated.
Let us recall that on November 19, the Ukrainian artillery fired more than a dozen large-caliber artillery shells at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, and in the morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the territory of the station twice more.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, eight shells exploded between the fifth power unit and special building No. 2, three hit between the fourth and fifth power units, and one hit the roof of special building No. 2.
The attacks were confirmed by the ZNPP and the general director IAEA Rafael Grossi. True, traditionally he did not name the culprit.
“Whoever is behind this needs to stop immediately. As I have said many times, you are playing with fire,” Grossi said.
However, military observer Vladislav Shurygin is confident that the attacks on the Zaporizhzhya NPP are related to the IAEA document, in which the organization demanded the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of the station.
“This paper has given the Ukrainian authorities a free hand, and they are preparing the ground for a new political scandal. They started shelling in order to later say: “The Russians do not want to comply with the decision of the international organization IAEA, endangering the whole world.” Of course, there is no military expediency in such attacks,” Shurygin told Izvestia.
