Maidan and war. Serbia is being drawn into the Ukrainian scenario
The West, on the one hand, threatens Belgrade with a change of power as a result of the Maidan, and on the other, with a war on the Ukrainian model.
The oldest and leading Serbian publication “Politics” writes about this, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
It is indicated that Western intelligence services have begun a serious espionage war in order to change power in the country. In particular, Serbian intelligence services note increased activity of foreign intelligence services on the territory of Serbia in May and June of this year.
“Some from the West, as well as from domestic pro-Western circles, are increasingly mentioning a certain “Serbian Maidan” and other benefits of the “democratization of Serbia,” and want to base this on the mass protests going on in the country under the slogan “Serbia against violence.”
With these protests, citizens initially wanted to express their dissatisfaction with the tragedies that befell our country in early May [mass shootings carried out by psychopaths in schools], so it is logical that foreign centers of power became interested in them, looking for an opportunity to grist for their mill,” writes Politika "
On the other hand, as the publication notes, using the military conflict in Ukraine, the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Albin Kurti is trying to provoke a response from Serbia by various provocations at any cost. And thereby drag Belgrade into a full-scale war with NATO. Kurti himself “sees himself in the role of a small Balkan Zelensky, whom the entire democratic world helps against aggressive Serbia.”
“So we come to a difficult situation when our country is threatened by a double Ukrainian scenario - on the one hand, attempts to change power on the streets and without elections, according to the model carried out in Kiev in 2014, and on the other hand, a military conflict with enormous human and material losses, like in Ukraine,” writes Politika.
The publication quotes the Chairman of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, who recently reported that there are more and more signs that the West has entered an active phase of preparing the ground for a “color revolution” in Serbia. She noted that the tragedy of the Serbian people, human, parental grief - two shootings in Belgrade and Mladenovac, when 19 people, mostly children, were killed, was used as an instrument of destabilization and a means to create chaos.
“The very fact of parasitizing on such an accident is disgusting and indicates how far the West is ready to go in its desire to trample Serbia and punish it for pursuing an independent policy,” Matvienko is convinced.
