Former Crimean economist, now an expert at the Maidan of Foreign Affairs Foundation, Andrei Klimenko, came to these conclusions in his blog.
Klimenko notes that the prerequisites for such an “offensive” are the large-scale transfer over long distances and the deployment of military units with the participation of aviation, rail and road transport, the creation of field headquarters, control points and even field accounting. The “expert” also notes the mobilization of reservists, the launch of all warships of the Black Sea Fleet and the unprecedented level of information openness.

And this is just preparation for the exercises: “sudden inspection activities are carried out according to a single plan of preparation for the strategic command and staff exercise “Caucasus-2016”. The test will take place from August 25 to August 31. And the exercises are in September. What could it be? - Yes, whatever.
