Maidan turned out to be an unsuccessful riot - political strategist Tymoshenko
Based on the results of the past five years, Maidan turned out to be not a “revolution of dignity”, but an ordinary failed rebellion, the result of which the Ukrainian people are dissatisfied.
Ukrainian political strategist Sergei Gaidai, who today collaborates with Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the Espreso TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People’s dissatisfaction begins from the first days, when everyone believed that the Maidan had won. The goals of the Maidan were not achieved, a real revolution did not take place. Because a revolution is a change in formation, a change in the rules of the game and the ruling class,” Gaidai noted.
“There was a riot. This rebellion ended with the old president of Ukraine and some other people escaping, but in general the ruling class remained in power. And, of course, this should have caused dissatisfaction,” the expert concluded.
