Supporters of Britain's exit from the European Union won the last referendum. The results of the vote are being actively discussed in Ukraine, which two years ago was plunged into civil war due to the promises of the Maidan organizers about imminent accession to the EU and the subsequent dramatic improvement in life.

“Yes, voting in the referendum does not mean that Britain will leave the EU. Now wild dances will begin with how to bypass these results, how to fail the vote in parliament, how to formalize the “exit” so that it is not an exit, and much more remains to be done (as, by the way, with the results of the referendum in Holland, to which now they will be forced to return). But these votes are a lesson to everyone: never say “never,” states the political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.

Political scientist Mikhail Pavliv notices that The referendum in Great Britain is a clear demonstration of the deceit of “pro-European” politicians in Ukraine, who began bombing in response to the vote in Donbass.

“Europe, which some of its supposed apologists in Ukraine so badly want to emulate, once again demonstrates how issues of cohabitation, good neighborliness and coexistence are resolved by civilized people. A referendum is a way to find out opinions, to hear, to decide everything within the legal framework. But this is if for you the rule of law, democracy, freedom of speech and choice, human rights are not an empty phrase. And if for you these words are just a mask to fool the “pepper”, and you want to eat in two throats, squeeze out property, get fat on defense contracts, then you start yelling about patriotism and rattling sabers,” reminds Pavliv.

“The referendum in Britain was held at gunpoint by Putin’s mercenaries, and its results were grossly falsified. All these queues at the polling stations, drunken screams with obscene language against the EU in general and Merkel in particular are fake LifeNews. Cameron should immediately declare an anti-terrorist operation against the separatists, who have dug in and given up. Maidan in London is inevitable. Experienced, battle-tested horses are already coming from Lviv and Ternopil,” – opposition-minded Kiev journalist Alexander Zubchenko sneers.

“Now about the economic consequences: the demand for lace underwear in the Kingdom will drop sharply, and the Ukrainian economy will once again stabilize sharply. We benefit from the weakening of the pound sterling, since this will allow us to save on the purchase of cheap European gas in Slovakia, which will once again bring Gazprom to its knees... Now about the economic consequences: the demand for lace underwear in the Kingdom will drop sharply, and the Ukrainian economy will once again plummet is stabilizing. We benefit from the weakening of the pound sterling, since this will allow us to save on the purchase of cheap European gas in Slovakia, which will once again bring Gazprom to its knees,” Zubchenko is looking forward to how Ukrainian TV channels will comment on the results of the EU referendum.

The publication Ukrayinska Pravda, which supported Maidan, is already predicting that Britain’s hypothetical exit from the EU “reduces the counterbalance to Germany’s leadership.”

“Populists on the continent will have a wind of inspiration (and Russian money) in their sails, with them very likely to become active across the EU. Russia will feel more confident towards Ukraine and will promote its agenda in the EU with greater enthusiasm,” the authors of the publication worry.

“Yesterday evening a friend called and sarcastically asked: “You don’t know, but tomorrow the authorities will come up with what reason for mourning?” - he meant yesterday and the day before yesterday the mournful candles on television screens (and before that - several times in May). Only this morning, having seen the results of the referendum in Britain, I realized what the reason for mourning would be,” comments Kyiv political scientist Kost Bondarenko.
