Maidan in the USA: Police disperse protesters. Why is Poroshenko silent?
New York - Kyiv, November 25 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) - Thousands of people gathered late Monday in US cities, including Los Angeles and New York, to protest against the decision of the Grand Jury, which rejected the charge of a white police officer who killed a black man 18-year-old Michael Brown, Missouri, in Ferguson last August, reports Agence France Press. The demonstrations were larger and more destructive than similar protests following the tragedy.

The most dangerous demonstrations were in St. Louis and Oakland, California, where demonstrators flooded freeway lanes, stopping cars and holding signs that read, “Hands up! Do not shoot!".
The Grand Jury's decision inflamed racial tensions in many cities across the country. Protesters took this as a personal insult, as many of them, AFP reported, had personally experienced discrimination when encountering police.
Demonstrators set fire to police cars, threw stones at police buildings, assembled barricades in some places, and insulted officers with obscene language. The police used tear gas. In Los Angeles and Seattle, crowds blocked highways.
Groups ranging from a few dozen to several hundred people also gathered in Chicago, Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C., where they protested outside the White House with signs.
“Mike Brown is the emblem of our protest. This country is at a boiling point,” Ethan Yuri, a protester in Philadelphia, where hundreds marched downtown surrounded by police, said in an interview, AFP reported.
Protestants are going to continue to fight.
