The Maidan Prime Minister of Armenia visited the US Ambassador frequently
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who came to power as a result of the Maidan unrest, decided to celebrate US Independence Day at the embassy of this country.
As Armenpress reports with reference to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan “on behalf of the Armenian people” congratulated Ambassador Richard Mills, embassy staff and, in their person, “the friendly people of the United States.”
“We are ready to jointly give new impetus to bilateral cooperation, including with the aim of expanding trade and economic ties,” Pashinyan said.
The US Ambassador responded with gratitude.
“Armenia is a good friend and partner of the United States, and I look forward to our continued cooperation in the spirit of our shared democratic values,” Mills said.
The parties discussed issues related to expanding the attraction of American investment, stimulating bilateral trade and economic relations and realizing existing potential.
Pashinyan already met with Mills immediately after confirming his candidacy for the post of prime minister.
