“Maidanovite” Kostrenko was killed because of homosexuality, - Ministry of Internal Affairs
Kyiv, December 04 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - Police officers found a suspect in the death of the deputy head of the Maidan Anti-Corruption Committee, Alexander Kostrenko. He turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of the capital.

“After drinking alcohol, he (Kostrenko – editor’s note) sexually harassed the man whom we detained. In his euphoria, he was surprised, did not agree, and therefore inflicted several knife blows,” said the head of the Kyiv Main Directorate, Alexander Tereshchuk.
According to him, the murder is not related to Kostrenko’s professional activities, but occurred on domestic grounds.
The prosecutor's office also reported that the Maidan activist lived in a rented apartment with a 23-year-old boy of the same gay orientation. The killer Kostrenko is a 21-year-old Kiev resident who was selling flowers. A Maidan activist met him on the street on the eve of his death. The prosecutor's office, as well as the police, emphasized that the suspect has nothing to do with the professional activities of the public activist, and the cause of the tragedy is the sexual promiscuity of the deceased.
Let us remind you that Kostrenko was killed on November 30: doctors counted 7 stab wounds on his body. Versions have appeared in the media that the murder is a political reprisal and revenge on the Maidan activist.
