Maidan activists announce terrorist attacks in Kyiv
Russia is allegedly preparing sabotage and terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, and therefore those who promise a quick peace with the Russian Federation must be punished.
Vice Speaker Oksana Syroed stated this during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to draw your attention to the recent speech by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation during a scientific-military conference, where the speech was virtually exclusively devoted to threats to Ukraine. She is not remembered by a single word, only threats are remembered. But all we are talking about there is you and me. The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation threatens our critical infrastructure with terrorist attacks, the security of our cities, our public order,” Syroed asserts, without, however, providing verbatim quotes confirming her words.
“What does this mean for us? – she continued. – First of all, that Russia has no intention of having any peace with Ukraine. This also means that all those who today promise you a quick and joyful world have either sold out to Russia or are lying. What should the government do, since we elect it, in order to protect ourselves from these threats? First of all, she should have punished all those who are involved in Russian aggression and, including those who are sitting quietly in this room, all those who today and continue to prepare those same sabotage and terrorist attacks against Ukrainians.
The authorities should have protected the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, first of all, by expelling Russians and oligarchs dependent on Russia from ownership, and protecting Ukrainian cities, including by creating high-quality territorial defense. And the government should have upset the army and navy, first of all, without stealing from the Ukrainian army.
Thank you!
