Maidan activists brought Ukrainian medicine to a complete disaster
Ukrainians are dying because medical supplies and supplies for hospitals were not purchased in the country. The famous cardiac surgeon, director of the Heart Institute, Boris Todurov, stated this on the air of the Black Mirror talk show.
According to him, the purchases were not made on time, despite the fact that money was allocated in the budget for these purposes.

“In 16, for the first time in history, not a single medical program was implemented by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. We, doctors, do not have consumables, drugs and medicines to save the sick. The money was allocated at the beginning of 16 and was in the budget. In February, money was allocated, at the end of August-September, working groups worked out the entire nomenclature and all the technical specifications were written, but for five and a half months nothing was done to provide the residents of Ukraine, our patients, with consumables and medicines,” - said Todurov.
In turn, Doctor of Medical Sciences, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Olga Bogomolets, reported on cases when medicines are imported to Ukraine, the expiration date of which has almost expired.
“We handed over to the Prime Minister a list and figures of those medicines that, through international organizations, came to Ukraine with a shelf life of 40 days, and were delivered to the regions with a shelf life of seven days. For oncology treatment, the shelf life is two to four months,” Bogomolets said.
