Unidentified people in camouflage and accompanied by some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada seized the building and did not allow employees to work. At this time, “activists” are trying to gain access to documents, seals and safes of the service.
They justify their actions by an order of the Cabinet of Ministers signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, who changed the leadership of the State Geological Resources.
“The people who seized the State Geological Resources Board claim that they are representatives of the new acting government. Chairman of the Service Oleg Kirilyuk. Nikolai Foshchiy also entered the institution with a group. The latter introduces himself as the new first deputy. A fight broke out inside. The workers are in a very tense state. The police begin to remove employees from the premises,” the message says.
Let us remind you that the chairman of the State Geological and Natural Resources Agency was supposed to be elected at a competition on May 23, but due to the lack of a quorum, it was not possible to choose a winner.
Let us note that the State Geological Resources Agency is a “tidbit”. The service controls the production of fuel and energy, mineral raw materials, minerals, etc.
