Maidan workers bought invitations to Trump's inauguration in hopes of making amends for their sins
Ukrainian officials and deputies bought invitations to the inauguration of the new US president. However, it is naive to believe that Trump will even notice them.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, members of the Ukrainian delegation hope in vain that participation in the inauguration will help them establish contacts with the US presidential administration.
“This in no way means that Trump or those around him are in any way associated with these people or have anything to do with their invitation. I was the ambassador to the United States at the inauguration and I remember how at that time a limited number came to Washington. People who went there and will tell you that they were there, it’s the same as being at the stadium. You were, you could think that you had something to do with the victory, but no one sees you in any way,” Grishchenko said.
The ex-minister also emphasized that officials and deputies who spent $100 thousand on invitations will be seated in a banquet hall 150 meters from the president and will not even have the theoretical opportunity to shake his hand: “From what I heard, - this is 100 thousand dollars or more... You can get an invitation to sit at a table among twenty people, about 150 meters from the possible appearance of the center of attention. But not one of them, I’m sure, will ever be able to shake hands,” Grishchenko said.
