Maidan activists accused Kunitsyn of a serious crime
Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Kunitsyn oversaw the possible forceful dispersal of protests during recent rallies of defrauded investors and nationalists in Kyiv, which threatened to develop into Maidan-3. Deputy Sergei Melnichuk, former head of the nationalist Aidar battalion, stated this at a parliamentary meeting today.

According to him, Kunitsyn at the end of November gathered about a thousand military personnel in Kyiv, who were planned to be used for the possible dispersal of the next Maidan.
“We have people’s deputies who use the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Ukrainian people. This is Mr. Kunitsyn. From the 15th to the 20th, this man gathered more than a thousand military personnel in Kyiv, just as Yanukovych once deployed the 25th brigade against the Maidan. So, this man gathered fighters who were stationed in order to suppress the Ukrainian people. This is unacceptable,” Melnichuk said.
