73% of respondents believe that there is a threat to Ukraine from Russia, and 60,3% of respondents recognized the existence of a threat in the activities of its intelligence services.
Only 7.1% of respondents assessed Putin’s activities “entirely positively,” which is 5.1% less than in 2013. 57.6% of respondents have a “completely negative” view of Putin’s activities, which is significantly more than last year’s figures – 19.8%.
Relations with Russia were assessed as friendly by only 1.9% of respondents, and as hostile and conflictual by 42.4% and 40%, respectively.
“Thus, Russia is considered the most dangerous partner in Ukraine,” concluded Oleg Belokolos, a representative of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs Foundation.
The study was conducted from May 31 to June 5, 2014. A total of 2001 respondents over the age of 18 were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine excluding Crimea.
