Maidan protesters blocked traffic in Moscow

Traffic along the Garden Ring in central Moscow was blocked by opposition supporters who were holding an unauthorized march demanding that “independent” candidates be allowed to participate in the elections.
The Russian Guard, which arrived soon, pushed the rioters onto the sidewalk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow, Alexey Venediktov, citing sources in the Russian National Guard, reported that security forces estimate the total number of protesters at 5 thousand people.
