Kyiv, April 30 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Yesterday’s conflict between the Right Sector and the Maidan Self-Defense continued when a fight broke out between former comrades in the revolution on Khreshchatyk after the “self-defense” refused to let the “PS” through the barricades for a torchlight procession, citing that such an action would be a provocation beneficial to Russia.

Today, the Social Nationalist Assembly, part of the Right Sector, published a special statement addressed to “self-defense,” whose activists in tents continue to occupy the Maidan and barricades.
“Self-defense during the revolution differs significantly from the current one. The previous one, although it did not evoke sympathy (because it constantly tried to send revolutionaries to prison), its existence was understandable - the watchmen, Maidan guards, and its representatives, while performing their functions, were sober. The meaning of the existence of the current self-defense is not clear at all. If earlier Maidan was perceived by Kiev residents as a positive phenomenon, now it is extremely negative. No one could imagine that hundreds of lumpen alcoholic defense activists would be hanging around the flowers laid in memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, and the Maidan would stink of urine,” the text of the document says.
“The revolution owes much of its success to the anti-police riots. It was the arbitrariness of the police, their arrogance and impunity that incited people to protest, which grew into a revolution. Now, alcohol defense officers have turned into the worst version of a patrol police officer (PPS). They also cling to everyone passing by and, under pressure, try to assert themselves and feel their own weight and benefit.
Yesterday there was a torchlight procession in honor of the fallen Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, and drunkards began screaming about the provocation. The paradox is that they created a provocation, because this was not the first action of the Ukrainians, and before that everything always went calmly. But apparently this time the defenders drank the drink.
Like the “tiaris” of the Yanukovych regime, they are trying to remove the masks from the Patriots. The rear rats cannot understand that someone is fighting in the East against separatism, instead of drinking vodka in a stinking tent. Those guys who were attacked by the lumpen yesterday still have families in the East, and the separatists have placed a reward on their heads. They are trying to declassify those who captured Oplot, defended the Kharkov Regional State Administration on March 1, those who defended Rymarskaya on the night of March 14-15, and put their families at risk.
Just like employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, alcohol defense workers do not keep their word. Their word is drunken chatter, because the fight began after there was an agreement on a corridor for the participants of the action. As soon as the activists entered the corridor, they began to throw stones at them, shoot from traumatic weapons, fireworks, and hit them with rebar and bats. At the same time, it was so clumsy that we took several “trophy bits” and fittings for ourselves, and the number of victims on our side was no more than that of alcoholics, although we were bare-handed, because we did not count on such a setup,” - say the SNA.
