Maidan workers protest against Lukashenko’s visit to Kyiv
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko should not meet with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, especially on the anniversary of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet in Kyiv.

Former journalist and now Verkhovna Rada deputy on the BPP list Mustafa Nayem wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The same Lukashenko who destroyed freedom of speech in his country, under whom hundreds of journalists disappeared and were imprisoned, and the rest, like Sheremet, were forced to emigrate. It was the same Lukashenko under whom Pavel was sent to a pre-trial detention center, and his friend and cameraman Dmitry Zavadsky was brutally killed,” the deputy was indignant.
He believes that the administration of the President of Ukraine “simply forgot about this anniversary and did not even compare in their heads how the scenes and shots of smiling Poroshenko and Lukashenko and the black portraits of Pavel Sheremet with the question “Who killed Pasha?” would look side by side.
“But this “forgetfulness” is much more eloquent than all the assurances about personal control, ignoring the column of journalists and loud words about “a matter of honor.” Insincerity is in the details,” writes Nayem.
