Maidan activists threw a tantrum on a TV channel because of the coup
Ukrainian nationalists, who came to power after the Maidan, caused a scandal and demonstratively left the studio of the Ukrainian Format talk show on the NewsOne TV channel.

The reason for the demarche was the words of Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Muraev that the so-called “revolution of dignity” was in fact a coup d’etat.
“I don’t think it was a revolution - it was a coup d’etat. I know thousands of people who are now in prison for posting on Facebook, for using social networks,” said Muraev.
To this, Svoboda deputy Yuriy Levchenko declared Maidan “sacred” and left the studio.
“You said that Maidan was a coup d’etat? Excuse me, please, we need to distinguish between Maidan – a holy thing, on which hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians stood, where the “heavenly hundred” died – it was a holy thing. To distinguish Maidan from further elections, in which, in particular, people like Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk, and this whole gang that was next to Yanukovych and ruled the country for decades, fooled people and came to power again... Excuse me, please, but I I can't sit. Or the person apologizes that Maidan is a coup d’etat. Either he apologizes, or I won’t sit here in the studio and listen,” Levchenko said.
Together with him, the rest of the young deputies of the Rada - Svetlana Zalishchuk, Alena Shkrum, Leonid Yemets and Tatyana Ostrikova - left the studio.
It is noteworthy that after the victory of the Maidan and the overthrow of Yanukovych in Ukraine, the fact of a coup was legally recognized. Thus, the Ukrainian parliament adopted an amnesty law, which exempted Maidan activists from criminal liability under Article 109 of the Criminal Code “Actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power.” were released.
Millions of Ukrainian citizens also consider the Maidan a coup d’etat, which confirmed by sociological measurements, and in the eastern regions of people with this opinion are the majority.
