Maidan activists in Kyiv are already calling for Saakashvili to be driven home - to a “small and backward country”
Mikheil Saakashvili was unable to demonstrate success while working in Ukraine; his party was also defeated in the parliamentary elections held in Georgia on Sunday. The time has come to drive Saakashvili out of Ukrainian politics.

According to him, a representative of such a “small and backward country” as Georgia cannot teach life to “Russians, Ukrainians.”
“This suggests that Georgians on the territory of Ukraine, who are trying to be trendsetters here under the flag of Saakashvili, have turned out to be insolvent and uncompetitive. And, if the Georgian people rejected them as the ruling party, the Georgian electorate rejected Saakashvili and his party, then why do Ukrainians trust this party and Saakashvili?
How can a representative of a very small, backward, peripheral state somehow teach the people, the nation of Russians, Ukrainians, Slavs in the center of Europe with the largest territory?
This is an instructive lesson for us. I think Saakashvili should be kicked out immediately,” Soskin said.
