Maidan workers are outraged: Red lanterns were lit above the Heavenly Hundred alley

Kyiv, February 21 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Well-known Ukrainian TV presenter Alexey Mochanov, a Maidan participant, expressed indignation that in the center of Kiev on Instytutska Street, renamed in honor of the “Heavenly Hundred,” red lights were turned on.

“I don’t know who it is, some fool advised to light red lanterns over the alley of the “Heavenly Hundred”, not realizing that if you go to Europe, red lanterns are hung only on those streets where there are prostitutes. It’s unclear who decided that this was great,” Mochanov said on Savik Shuster’s talk show.
