Maidan activists are jealous: the EU helps the Greeks 20 times more than the “freedom-loving Ukrainians”
The total amount of EU assistance to Greece is 300 billion euros over the past seven years.

Maidan activist and political scientist Alexander Paliy stated this on Channel 5.
“Imagine that since 2008, Greece has received 300 billion euros in aid from the EU. Greece, which is four times smaller than Ukraine, received such a huge amount simply because it is an EU member. And what’s more, they won’t have to repay the lion’s share of this debt, because their debts have been written off,” the expert said.
According to him, such volumes of monetary assistance cannot be compared with Ukraine.
“This amount is simply huge for Ukraine. We are having discussions here about whether to give 15 billion dollars from the IMF to Ukraine, and in what tranches, but there the country received 20 times more and simply squandered this money. This money did not affect the budget in any way,” Paliy noted.
