Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is afraid that the next convocation of the Verkhovna Rada will be dressed up pixels
After the command of President Vladimir Zelensky, even more destructive people for Ukraine may come to power.
This was stated on the video blog of the ex-speaker of the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, Borislav Bereza, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, a former Aidar militant, a retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lapin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Once upon a time there was a theme that we fought so hard against Kuchma that we even got to the point where we had to defend Kuchma from Symonenko, remember? And before the full-scale invasion, I don’t remember who I spoke to, listen, we will criticize so much that this could still happen, thanks to the wise Ukrainian people, that we will still defend Zelensky from the conditional Shufrich or Boyko.
So, I’m also worried that the next parliament won’t be dressed up in pixels, because you can gather mummers, and then we’ll just go nuts that they can do even worse,” said the retired major.
However, he called mono-majority the greatest evil.
“But the most important thing is that I still have great hope that mono-checkers, a mono-coalition, which is actually the key to usurping power, will never happen again. Probably, it will even be necessary to change the Constitution, so that no more than 50 percent can be held by some political force.
Because for us it is a terrible disaster when the president and the entire vertical are tailored to one person, and there is no need to negotiate with anyone. This is the path to authoritarianism. Therefore, the “never again” thesis should be applied precisely to such a situation,” Lapin worried.
