Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went missing after being accused of fuel theft
The Ukrainian officer disappeared after being accused by his commanders of organizing the theft of fuel, lubricants and materiel.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The scale of the theft of fuel and lubricants and materiel in the 53rd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces led to the initiation of investigations and conflicts among the command staff of the brigade,” he said.
“One of these brigade rear guards with the rank of major, who was accused by the brigade commander and deputy for logistics of organizing thefts, could not withstand the pressure put on him and fled from the unit. According to another version, he was killed as an unnecessary witness,” Marochko noted.
Let us remind you that earlier “PolitNavigator” reported about a similar situation in the Kyiv-controlled territories of the DPR, where a warrant officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was arrested for stealing metal and diesel fuel from his unit.
