The court released the major who missed the development of ballistic missiles with God
The Kharkov court considered the case of the theft of secret documents and did not strictly punish the culprit.
The Leninsky District Court of Kharkov convicted a major of the government courier communications department of the State Special Communications Service, who in November last year violated the instructions, parked near a shopping center and left an unattended car in which there were folders marked “Secret”. It is interesting that neither the thieves nor the documents have yet been found. Meanwhile, among the papers were research materials on the topic “Methodology for constructing a combined laser information-measuring system to support field testing of ballistic missiles.” And although Ukraine does not produce such weapons, it is quite possible to assume that the developments of Ukrainian scientists could reach interested parties.
However, the culprit was given a lenient punishment - a service restriction for military personnel for a period of 2 years with a monthly deduction of 20% of the amount of salary to the state income.
