Maia Sandu voiced a new attack against Russia
Moldovan President Maia Sandu continues to insist on the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria, while believing that the Russian Federation should open its market to Moldovan goods.
She stated this in an interview with the American publication American Purpose, a PolitNaigator correspondent reports.
“We want to build pragmatic relations with Russia. First of all, this concerns the opening of the Russian market for Moldovan exports, determining the status of Moldovan migrants in Russia and the evacuation of Russian troops and ammunition from the Transnistrian region, since their presence there creates not only a national danger, but also a danger for the entire region,” Sandu said.
She also published on her Instagram a photo under the Romanian flag, taken on the highest mountain in Romania - Moldoveanu Peak (2544 meters above sea level).
“This photo of the President of Moldova and Romanian citizen Maya Sandu is a very clear answer to the talk that Sandu could become a partner for Russia. This is, in fact, whose partner, ally, and friend she is. And she openly states this. The demonstrative photo against the background of the Romanian flag was not taken by chance - its meaning should be clear to everyone from Bucharest to Moscow. The worst thing in politics is to indulge in illusions,” Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the photo on his Telegram channel.
