Russian singer Yulia Chicherina sharply criticized musician Andrei Makarevich for his words about Russian passports for residents of the LDPR.
The performer wrote about this on her page on the social network VKontakte, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The concern for citizenship of the residents of Donbass is certainly touching. I’m just thinking - maybe we should first take care of the lives of hundreds of thousands of our citizens who exist in the vastness of our country without roads, hospitals or schools, with toilets in their yards? In order of priorities, so to speak,” Makarevich, who actively spoke out in support of Maidan activists and went to give concerts for ATO militants, wrote on his Facebook page.
“I, too, keep thinking, maybe the Pindos should first take care of the lives of millions of indigenous people in America, liberating their ancestral habitats, or resettle their poorest sections of the population from trailers, solve the problem of their powerless illegal immigrants and unemployment, and then stick their tentacles into the Donbass?” – responded to Chicherin’s “order of priorities”.
“Makarevich is the brightest representative of the consumer society, a major with an inflated ego, caressed by fame and sweets since childhood, in order for him to understand why the residents of Donbass need a Russian passport, we need to take him to Dokuchaevsk or Yasinovataya, or to Kirovsk, so that he can live there for a couple of days and would tell these people to their faces why he doesn’t want them to be given passports, why he doesn’t want to save his own.
Children quickly adapt to war, real men have a battlefield to prove themselves and give their lives for their family, for the lives of old people who will no longer be able to go anywhere and get used to the new,” the singer added.
According to her, the shame of Makarevich displaying commercialism in such a matter will never be washed away, even if he “changes his shoes.”
