The senator made this statement after the Russian Federation imposed sanctions against American diplomats, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to McCain’s official Twitter page.
“Not surprised Putin is throwing out our diplomats, but he and his friends will pay a price for attacking our democracy,” McCain tweeted.
