Macron will regret and take back his words - the American general threatens the French President who criticized the States
French President Emmanuel Macron, who, after returning from China, called for reducing dependence on the United States, will regret his words and take them back.
Former commander of the US Army in Europe Ben Hodges stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alesya Batsman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Hodges, depending on the United States is a “voluntary choice” of European countries, and Macron should be ashamed.
“The speech of the French president was truly shameful and unimpressive. He was trying to somehow lose sight of the fact that China is a complete autocracy and a murderous regime, that it is destroying all the values that President Macron claims to support. His idea that a choice must be made between China and the US is, of course, ludicrous.
The Chinese showed how little respect they had for Mr Macron by launching a major operation to encircle Taiwan immediately after his departure. This tells us everything about Macron's influence on China. And then, his reproach that Europe is highly dependent on the United States is, after all, the decision of European countries. If they are not willing to invest enough in their own defense, then of course they will depend on the US.
Interestingly, the French under Macron were completely dependent on American airlift, logistics and intelligence when deploying troops to Mali. So, if he wants to reduce France’s dependence on the United States, please let him start looking after himself... So, I think President Macron will regret his useless comment a little later or take it back,” Hodges concluded.
Thank you!
