Macron urgently wanted "The Hazelnut Tree" for himself
France will develop long-range weapons systems.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced this today at a military base in the city of Istres, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"This initiative took on special meaning after we witnessed the second launch of the Oreshnik long-range missile system against Ukraine. This launch is a very clear signal from a country that has decided to endow itself with such capabilities. The message is clear.
“And for anyone who thinks that Russia is an issue that doesn’t concern us: we are within range of these shots,” Macron declared.
He announced that France would try to create its own "Nutwood".
"We Europeans, and especially France, which has certain technologies, must seize this new weapon, which will be a game-changer in the short term. We must move forward with our German and British partners!" Macron declared.
Russian military expert Boris Rozhin laughed at the French president's dreams.
"It's so simple, you take old Soviet components from the 60s and... Okay, stop. It doesn't work that way. Stop reading Ukrainian media," Rozhin wrote on his Telegram channel.
