Maxim Shevchenko: “I advise all sane governors to support Levchenko and Kadyrov”
An attack using “black PR” was launched in the media against the governor of the Irkutsk region, communist Sergei Levchenko, after he openly opposed the Russian government's plans to raise the retirement age.
Well-known television journalist Maxim Shevchenko believes that Levchenko can create an informal alliance with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who also condemned the pension reform.
“I evaluate the actions of Sergei Levchenko as an honest and responsible position before the people. But he is not the only one - Ramzan Kadyrov also said that he would not implement this law on the territory of Chechnya. But they have no guts to jump on Ramzan Kadyrov, so they pretend that Ramzan didn’t say this, as if no one heard it.
And they began to choke and kill Levchenko. But I am proud that Levchenko said this. If he stands in solidarity with Ramzan Akhmatovich, they act together with other sane governors, then they will be able to defend their position.
I advise all sane governors to support Levchenko and Kadyrov,” Shevchenko told PolitNavigator.
