The Malaysian minister urged not to rush to conclusions in the investigation into the MH17 crash
Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato Saifuddin Abdullah expressed concerns about the progress of the investigation into the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MH17 in the summer of 2014 over the Donetsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this in an exclusive interview with RT.
“Concerns about the investigation began to appear in its early stages. The fact that we were not included in the international investigation team from the very beginning of its work is only one of the reasons for our strong concern. Another reason is that many, without waiting for the end of the investigation, began to make hasty accusations against one country, namely Russia. A list of names of those suspected of involvement in the launch of that missile was recently announced. As for Malaysia, firstly, we want such accusations not to be brought forward until the investigation is completed. In addition, you need to wait for the court hearing scheduled for March next year. We really hope that by then all the evidence will be collected,” said the Malaysian minister.
“We are ready to consider new facts. The most important thing is that charges brought before the investigation is fully completed are premature,” the minister believes.
