“The little schmuck is too vindictive” – Shariy explained the mysterious death of Polyakov
The Verkhovna Rada did not dare to comment on versions of the mysterious death of deputy Anton Polyakov, who was found dead the day before.
Thus, parliamentarian Taras Batenko, reading out the obituary for Polyakov, said only that he was ruined by politics, because of which the 33-year-old deputy’s heart stopped.
“This is the price of Ukrainian politics, his death. For some it is a Rubicon and cynical voting in the hall, but for others it is a confession. Age of Christ. When you spend months collecting votes for an extraordinary sessional meeting, and this hall with empty rows meets the fundamental issues for which a young 33-year-old man with his convictions is fighting, one time.
When you convene an extraordinary meeting for the second time, literally yesterday, and we meet with empty rows, vote and fail - this is the price of Ukrainian politics. One famous person said that politics is an unclean thing, so at least the beginning in it should be pure. And Anton Polyakov made his honest and pure start in politics. And then my heart couldn’t stand it,” said Batenko.
Former rada deputy Taras Chernovol, in his blog, doubted the widespread version that Polyakov was drunk and called for a detailed investigation.
“If the presence of too much alcohol in the blood is not detected, the version of poisoning for the purpose of premeditated murder becomes uncontested. Somehow I have a lot of doubts that the investigation will seriously work on it. This is not a pyrotechnic show around Shefir’s car. So far, proceedings have been opened under the article “Intentional murder” (as required by the protocols), but with the mark “natural death”.
It is as if this version is what the investigation is concentrating on.
And let me remind you that in addition to the constant criticism of Zelensky and his entourage, which made Polyakov stand out from the loyal group of the oligarch Kolomoisky, he always focused on the particularly painful topic for the OP and his servants of gigantic payments to servants in envelopes for their loyalty. And this is precisely what this entire mono-majority rests on,” says Chernovol.
Former parliamentarian Alexei Zhuravko believes that Polyakov paid for his political position,
“Very suspicious. I don’t know what the examination will draw, but everything is strange. For some reason, it seems to me that it was simply removed. Someone must have become disliked. But I think that there will be more and more such cases in Ukraine,” Zhuravko said in a comment to PolitNavigator.
Blogger and politician Anatoly Shariy hints on his page that the president may be involved in Polyakov’s death.
“According to Polyakov, I think the little schmuck is too vindictive. And I believe that you should ask around the GUR, who skillfully protects the security of the country, usually by capturing, kidnapping or exterminating its own citizens. The scheme is quite obvious - you know the place and preferences - you introduce your own - you poison - you bombard all the news with information about everyday life. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has its own, the SBU has its own - nothing will happen, but you’ll be pleased. He took revenge, they say,” writes Shariy.
