A young Russian saboteur went to jail
In the Kemerovo region, a 16-year-old teenager tried to sabotage a railway.
The Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in its telegram channel.
It is noted that the young man is charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sabotage).
“According to the investigation, on March 28, 2023, the accused, acting on the instructions of an unidentified person, set fire to one relay cabinet located at the Ishanovo station of the West Siberian Railway, receiving a monetary reward for this.
“On April 6, 2023, at the request of the investigator, the Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period until June 1, 2023,” the statement says.
The attacker admitted his guilt.
“The implementation of investigative and procedural actions aimed at consolidating the evidence base in the case continues,” the Sledkom added.
