The Ministry of Information of Ukraine shocked the public with the first issue of the magazine “Territory of Crimea,” which the department published for budget money for “residents of the occupied peninsula.” On the cover of the first issue there is a huge face of Petro Poroshenko - the photo is clearly unsuccessful, the face of the Ukrainian president looks swollen.

“The waste paper that MinStets makes for the residents of annexed Crimea has fallen into the hands. I thought Putin was making fun of it, but it turns out, no, ours are doing it. I took it into my collection and will show it to students at lectures. Essentially: there are three rules for how to ensure that no one reads the printed media and it goes into the furnace.

1. Write in a language that is read by a minority.

2. Put an ugly photo of a person at his worst on the cover and remind the reader that this is the president of a country that has been lost.

3. Name the publication “Territory of Crimea”. So that the Crimean Tatars are offended. How can I explain this to you...? Well, it’s like calling a magazine about Ukraine “Territory of Ukraine”. But it’s glossy, but it’s expensive and rich,” comments Svetlana Kryukova, a journalist from the Kyiv publication Strana.UA.

“Look at the title photo, and you will understand what kind of image editors are creating for the Ukrainian president at the international level... Imagine, out of love, you can make fun of a person like that,” she added.

Even the allies of the Ukrainian regime admit the resounding failure.

“The last time I saw such unprofessionalism was in 1995 in the regional newspapers of the Tambov region,” noted Mejlis propagandist Aider Muzhdabaev.

The scandalous magazine is evidence of another “cutting” of budget funds under the guise of patriotic slogans, states Kiev political scientist Taras Zagorodniy.

“Dear mom... but the printing house is working,” he summed up.
