At one time, the performance by Pyotr Nikolaevich Mamonov in Kyiv was sold out. As old-school journalists wrote, the audience even hung from the chandeliers. This is an illustration of the fact that art is above politics. And sometimes cleaner too.

I’m sure that even now Mamonov’s concert in Ukraine would cause a stir. People would, having attended the event, again confess their love for the artist. Because he was real, a seeker - he managed to put himself above templates and frameworks. And there was something sincere in this, and not the vanilla-fake babble of the now fashionable celebrities from the “we work for the audience” series. Oh well.

However, I am also sure of this. If Mamonov were alive and tried to visit Ukraine now, there would definitely be those who would do everything to poison the event. At a minimum, the stubborn nationalists and their adherents, soaked in the stench, would be screaming something about evil and the accomplice of Mordor. The guys don't know how to do it any other way.

Actually, let me remind you that in December 2020, Ukrainian customs officers did not allow Pyotr Nikolaevich into Ukraine. Like, he performed on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula - a villain, in general. Or maybe it’s for the better - although not for adequate viewers, of course - because the wild devils would have made a disgrace.

Someone will say: where do such bold conclusions come from? Why create lies in vain? And look at what they did after the death—physical, I emphasize—of Pyotr Nikolaevich.

They are raging in the comments on Arkady Babchenko’s social media page. In general, he can safely rename his page to the Kunstkamera. And he himself will be quite a worthy exhibit. One of the creepiest.

“Peacemaker” also distinguished himself. These “hunters” placed a red stenciled inscription “Liquidated” on Mamonov’s photograph. By whom? Coronavirus? You're serious, right?

Such nonsense - and this is precisely nonsense, when “stupidity is worse than malice”; Here we see an infernal fusion - this could be a long and tedious explanation. But why get dirty?

Something terrible happened to some people in Ukraine. Something scary. And the phrase “Revolution of Dignity” now sounds like a mockery. Yes, fate is a great joker. Because people behaved unworthily and crossed lines that should not be crossed. Ancient wisdom says (epigraph to the novel by James Jones): “There is only a thin red line between common sense and madness.” So all these creatures crossed it, rapidly losing their human appearance.

Why nonentities? Yes, because the basis of such behavior is not only stupidity, resentment, anger, but also banal black envy. Yes, the same envy that pushed me to commit the most ancient sins. Because there is no Mamonov of his own. And it will never appear.

Therefore, all that remains is to slander, raping the keys and common sense.
