“Maneuverable defense,” Colonel Trukhan explained how to perceive the surrender of the Kharkov region
The rapid retreat of the Russian army in the Kharkov direction is a transition to a maneuverable defensive strategy in conjunction with the coordinated actions of aviation and artillery divisions.
Such explanations were voiced on the YouTube channel “PolitWera” by a retired colonel of the Central Apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, military expert Vladimir Trukhan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The reserve colonel is confident that at the same time, active development of operational directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for delivering decisive strikes is underway.
“With the abundance of man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have, there will always be a danger for attack and army aviation. This suggests that ours are calmly transferring airborne troops there and from the first day, even from the first night of the offensive, they have air supremacy. This suggests that these cavalry attacks, the fact that the Ukrainians are painting the map with a different color, are nothing. They do not set up positions, but wander back and forth in the hope that no one will catch them.

And the fact that ours are working against them with aviation and artillery indicates that our aviation group, like the artillery group, was ready for the intensification of enemy actions in this operational direction.
